About the Event
ORCHWA’s Annual Conference is a signature event that brings together CHWs, CHW supervisory staff, health systems, community-based organizations, other traditional health workers, and CHW allies to discuss community health, connection, and the current state of the CHW workforce. This event creates opportunities for continued learning and professional development, while promoting the impactful and amazing role CHWs play in public health, health systems, and the broader community.

Call for Abstracts now open
ORCHWA is seeking abstracts for this year's conference! Sessions are in-person and durations are 60 and 90 minutes, supporting the professional development of Community Health Workers. This year we look forward to exploring our theme of "The Power of Connection: CHWs Bridging the Gap" and will focus on the important role CHWs play in connecting and strengthening communities across Oregon.
We encourage and invite abstracts for sessions to be delivered in Spanish.

All funds raised from event sponsorship support the provision of high quality nationally renowned speakers, create scholarships for CHWs to attend the Conference, contribute to ORCHWA's scholarship fund to enable professional development opportunities CHWs if cost is a barrier to training, and to support the general operating of and advancing ORCHWA's mission.
